B Brief Auto-biography
Dr. Emily Awuor Ouma is a Lecturer in the Computer and informatics department (Physics Section) of Laikipia University, Kenya. She attained her PhD degree in Environmental Physics from the University of Szeged, Hungary. She also holds an MSc degree in physics (solid state physics) from Egerton University and a BSc (maths/physics) from Moi University, Kenya. Her research interest focuses on the development and application of detection instruments using the Photoacoustic spectroscopy method in the measurement of atmospheric polluting gases and charged aerosols

- October 2013 to January 2018: Served as the Acting Chair of the physics department, at Laikipia University
- August 2013 to date: Promoted from Tutorial Fellow, to Assistant Lecturer to Lecturer in the physics department, at Laikipia University.
- July 2011: Employed as a graduate assistant at Laikipia University, physics department.
