2. Brief Auto-biography of the Staff
Silas Wataki is an experienced Administrator whose objective is to utilize knowledge and expertise in Administration and ICT to provide quality solutions to problems and to provide necessary technical and strategic expertise to the organization with the desired end result of transforming lives and enabling the country to attain the Universal Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mr. Wataki has played a crucial role at Laikipia University since he joined the institution in the year 2015 among them: Strategy formulation and implementation; Coordination of performance contracting; Implementation and auditing of the Integrated Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013; Faculty administration; Business process re-engineering; Implementation of rapid results initiatives; Productivity Measurement; and Provision of secretariat services to university committees. Prior to joining Laikipia University, Mr. Wataki served as a part time lecturer at the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
