The Laikipia University Students Association (LUSA) has commenced a three-day 4th – 6th February, 2026 benchmarking visit to Karatina University, Embu University, and Chuka University as part of efforts aimed at strengthening student leadership, governance, and institutional collaboration.
The delegation is led by Rev. Fr. Dr. Peterson Kabugi, Ag. Dean of Students at Laikipia University. The visit provides an opportunity for LUSA student leaders to engage with their counterparts in the host universities, share best practices in student governance, and explore innovative approaches to enhancing student welfare, representation, and leadership.
Through the benchmarking exercise, the team will exchange experiences on leadership structures, student engagement initiatives, and service delivery models that contribute to building vibrant and inclusive university communities.
