Career Guidance and Mentorship at Muhotetu

Laikipia University was hosted by the PCEA Muhotetu church for a career guidance and mentorship forum, specifically designed for students who recently completed Form 4.

The Presbyterian Christian Education Team organized this event, which was themed "Inspiring for a Stable Future."

The future scholars were encouraged to be inspired to effect positive changes in the world. This event was conducted in collaboration with other institutions. Ms. Jane Chiuri, the CECM of Education, Gender, Youth, Sports, Culture, and Social Services for Laikipia County, graced the occasion and officially launched the event. In her address, she commended the achievements already made by the youth. She emphasized that success can be achieved through various pathways. The County Government of Laikipia is actively strengthening vocational training to enhance employability. She urged the youth to uphold integrity, discipline, and hard work. The Laikipia University team was led by CS. Roslyne Mulefu, the Director of Corporate Affairs. The university team provided an overview of the programs offered at the TVET Institute, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate studies. This structured approach aimed to facilitate a 100% transition to post-secondary institutions and career advancement.
