LU Goes Global through UNESCO Clubs

One of our very own, Benfesto Monyoncho Matara, a 4th year student at the School of Education pursuing B.Ed. Science (Maths/Chem) option emerged 3rd in the 2020 UNESCO Global Club Youth Multimedia Competition under the 20-24 age category. This was a competition organized by UNESCO club members globally to showcase their activities within their institutions in line with the SDGs.
The winners will be recognized and showcased in UNESCO global events of the year. Their profiles will also be highlighted in UNESCO Newsletters globally. This is a very commendable achievement that has put our university, country, and continent on the global map. Please join us in celebrating the exemplary performance of our own student.
