Laikipia University TVET Trainers Workshop

The Laikipia University Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institute (TVET) held a 5-day TVET Trainers’ workshop as from Monday, 5^th September, 2022 to Friday, 9^th September 2022 at Mandela Hall. This is in line with TVETA Act 2013 that requires all TVET trainers to undergo Competency Based Education Training (CBET) and Competency Based Assessment (CBA) for them to qualify to train. The training attracted over 80 trainees.

The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Gillian Mwaniki and Dr. Beatrice Osumba from the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD).
