Reporting, Registration and Admission of 2023/2024 Laikipia University first-year students kicked off on Thursday, 7th September 2023 and ended on Monday, 11th September 2023. The exercise was spearheaded by the office of the Registrar - Academic Affairs (AA) led by Prof. Robert Mwebi and a team of staff and students.
Admission for the School of Education (SOE) and the School of Business and Economics (SOBE) happened on day one. Admission for students in the School of Science and Applied Technology (SSAT) and Humanities and Development Studies (HDS) happened on 8th September, 2023. Diploma students and students who deferred their studies in 2022 reported on Monday, 11th September 2023.
All students were admitted irrespective of whether they had paid/cleared fees or not. Therefore students were advised to turn up in large numbers for the registration exercise. Orientation exercise commenced on Tuesday, 12th September, 2023 and students are expected to attend all the sessions without fail. During the orientation students will be informed on the process of inter-faculty and inter-programme transfer procedures and timelines.
The orientation will end with the address by the Vice Chancellor on Friday, 19th September 2023.
