Laikipia University Management Board team led by Prof. Charles Nguta, PhD, Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Research & Student Affairs (ARSA) visited the Laikipia Campus Comprehensive Schools on 26th July, 2024. Laikipia Campus Comprehensive Schools is a public school under the Ministry of Education offering the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) up to Junior Secondary and it’s located within Laikipia University.
The visit followed a request from the School’s Board of Management for infrastructural assistance from Laikipia University. A team drawn from the Estates, and Computing & Informatics (ICT section) departments accompanied the Laikipia University Management Board team to assess, and estimate the kind of assistance needed. The school is in dire need of wall, and floor repairs, internet connection and a class to host Grade 9 students come next year.
Others present during the visit include Prof. Robert Mwebi, PhD, Registrar, Academic Affairs (AA), Dr. Hezron Nyamwega, PhD, Registrar Administration and Human Capital (AHC), among others.
