Laikipia University's Directorate of Research, Gender, and Human Rights organized a three-day Grant Proposal Writing Training workshop held between 23rd-25th February 2026. The primary objective was to enhance the capacity of academic staff and early career researchers.

Anchored on the theme “From Vision to Impact: Redefining STEM by Closing the Gender Gap,” the event moved beyond inspiration to deliberate action; challenging young girls to transform their dreams into tangible solutions for society.

Laikipia University came alive with excitement and celebration during the Alumni Open Day 2025, an event that coincided with the close of Customer Service Week. The day was marked by vibrant activities, valuable partnerships, and a strong show of community spirit.

Laikipia University was delighted to host the Chief Executive Officer of the Commission for University Education (CUE), Prof. Mike Kuria, who paid a courtesy visit to the University.

On September 26, 2025, Laikipia University, in collaboration with the Laikipia County Security Committee, held a high-level security forum titled Jukwaa La Wasomi, focusing on enhancing student safety and fostering a culture of security awareness within and beyond campus.
