Laikipia University has taken another significant step towards strengthening its preparedness for the transition to Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) following a two-day staff training workshop held on 1st and 2nd September 2026 at the Vision 2030 Hall, Main Campus.

The University Council, Management, staff, students, and the entire Laikipia University community join the family of Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, the University of Nairobi, and the nation in mourning the passing of Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, former Chancellor of the University of Nairobi and its first woman Chancellor.

Laikipia University proudly congratulates Prof. Robert Mwebi, Registrar (Academic Affairs), on his election as an Executive Board Member of the Forum of Academic Registrars of Kenyan Universities (FARKU), where he will represent Kenya's public universities.
