Featured IGU: Laikipia University Springs
Initiated in September 2019 following benchmarking and asset procurement metrics, Laikipia University Springs maintains absolute operational compliance with certifications from both the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). Management oversight of this asset was officially handed over to the Directorate in 2021.
Our state-of-the-art bottling facility has an operational flow capacity of 1,000 liters per hour. It sustainably services internal university requirements, with surplus commercial outputs distributed directly to staff and local community partners. Collected natively from the university natural forest ecosystem, the spring water undergoes advanced multi-stage automated filtration technology. We currently process 500ML, 1L, 10L, and 20L configurations alongside commercial bulk refilling operations.
