International Women’s Day is globally celebrated on 8th March with the aim of recognizing the social economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year's theme, Accelerate Action focusses on the urgency of making faster, more effective strides towards gender equality.
The School of Humanities and Development Studies (SHDS) organized a Student Advising Forum for its students on March 4, 2025, at the Nelson Mandela Hall. The club’s mission is to empower students with financial literacy and knowledge of taxation and foster responsible financial citizenship. After graduation, students are the main drivers of the country’s economy, and understanding taxation and personal finance is pivotal for their own growth.
