Message from the Chief Hospitality Officer
The Catering Department is a service business unit which supports other services offered in Laikipia University. We are mandated to provide quality catering services to the entire university community (students and employees) and external clientele.
We offer delicious, nutritious, and balanced meals that are hygienically and professionally prepared. Furthermore, the meals are sold at affordable buying prices pegged on standard market indices to support student wellbeing.
Pay As You Eat (PAYE) System
The department operates on a cashless Pay As You EAT (PAYE) system. Customers make secure payments to the cashier before food service through official e-Citizen transaction platforms.

- Coordinate procurement, professional preparation, and safe storage of catering inventory.

- Manage and audit all kitchens, restaurants, and snack bars under the University's jurisdiction.
