Academic Qualifications and Work Experience
Mr. Eliazer Kipyego Kogey holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (Old Testament) from the Adventist University of Africa (2019–2024), a Bachelor of Theology (Second Class Upper Division) from Bugema University (2004–2007), and a Diploma in Ministerial Studies from the Adventist Institute of Eastern Uganda (2001–2002). He is an experienced church leader currently serving as President of the West Rift Valley Field of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kenya since January 2022, where he provides strategic leadership and spiritual oversight to more than 300 churches and institutions. Previously, he served as Associate Chaplain at the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton and as Director of Stewardship and Church Development at the Greater Rift Valley Conference, leading church growth and stewardship programmes. He has also served in various pastoral roles and held leadership positions in church and academic governance.
