Academic Qualifications and Work Experience
Ms. Rose Wanjiku Ndegwa is an experienced education professional with expertise in educational research, teaching, training, and higher education management. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Research and Evaluation at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa and holds a Master of Education in Educational Research and Evaluation and a Bachelor of Education (English and Literature) from the same institution.
She has further enhanced her leadership and professional skills through training in public management, data science for public policy, education management, and senior management, and is a member of the Society of Educational Research and Evaluation in Kenya (SEREK). She currently serves as Deputy Director of Education in the Directorate of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education Kenya, supporting policy implementation, programme oversight, and quality assurance.
Her previous experience includes service as a vocational and technical trainer and over ten years as a secondary school teacher of English and Literature. She has also served as a Senior Examiner and Team Leader with Kenya National Examinations Council.
