Dr. Lemein Korei is an accomplished academic, financial expert, and public servant with a distinguished record in leadership, governance, and policy development. He holds a PhD in Business (Entrepreneurship Development) from Kenyatta University, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovations Management from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the Canadian School of Management, South Asia, a Master of Commerce in Business Studies from Shivaji University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Karnatak University.
Dr. Korei has served as a Member of Parliament for Narok South Constituency in the Kenya National Assembly, where he contributed to national legislation and development initiatives through participation in various parliamentary committees. His academic contributions include teaching and mentorship as a Lecturer at Moi University, where he focused on business and entrepreneurship education.
In addition to his legislative and academic service, Dr. Korei has held significant roles in financial management. He served as Financial Controller at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and as FOSA Manager at Narok Teachers Savings and Credit Cooperative Society, where he oversaw strategic financial operations and cooperative development.
Currently, Dr. Korei serves as the Chairman of the Council, providing leadership and strategic oversight for the governance and advancement of the institution. His broad expertise in finance, education, entrepreneurship, and public administration positions him as a key driver of institutional excellence and development.
